Missions Policy
Shepherd’s Staff is ready and able to come alongside the leadership of a
local church and assist them as they develop written missions policy that is
the product of the specific missions vision God has given that church. Our goal
is to help you create and implement a viable and working, yet not overly
restrictive policy that will bless the church, the members of the congregation,
and especially the missionaries themselves.
Screening of potential missionaries
With our experienced staff, Shepherd’s Staff can also be of help in
screening and evaluating those who believe they have heard God’s call to
the mission field. In addition to helping the church leadership know the right
things to ask and what kind of answers give an indication of the applicants
potential effectiveness, we are also available to do some of the screening and
evaluation ourselves, on behalf of the leadership of the church.
Strategy
Because of our experience and exposure to a variety of mission endeavors,
including church planting and establishment of children’s homes and/or
orphanages, we may be able to offer some insight that would be of strategic and
practical help in seeing the vision of a missionary and his home church become
a reality.
