On Eagles Wings
On Eagles' Wings (OEW) is an outreach of
Calvary Chapel Bucharest, Romania. OEW reaches disadvantaged children for Christ through a school enrollment and daily homework program. True success in education begins with the Word of God and so does each day's homework assignment.
Most of the kids live in difficult conditions with no running water and are welcomed to take showers at the
church building and leave their school clothes to be washed. Each child looks forward to a nutritious lunch and some down time to jump rope, play ball or make a craft.
Programs have been developed not just to give the kids an education, but to consistently keep them in the Word. The children are also picked up every Sunday for church. It's an awesome way to share the love of Christ!
